You probably have long ago figured it out, but thought I would share for others seeing your question. There are 3 parts tests to pass and after you pass all 3, you apply to be an ea and send them money. Once certified as an EA, you are required to keep up on education and requirements are much higher than AFSP. Here is the link to IRS page that walks through it. Congratulations on passing! No small feat! I passed exam1 and take the second August 3rd. You will probably be much faster than I. Good luck!
