If you are a tax preparer in the state of California the deadline for taking your CTEC continuing education courses and renewing with CTEC is tomorrow (October 31st) at midnight. You must have the courses done and renew with CTEC by then or you will have to pay a $55 late fee. You will have until 1/15/24 with the late fee. If you miss the January 15th deadline then you will be required to take a 60-hour course again.
