If you are a tax preparer in the state of California the deadline for taking your CTEC continuing education courses and renewing with CTEC is October 31st, 2025. Platinum Professional Services last reporting on October 31st, 2025 will be at 3pm PST. Please ensure that your courses are completed by this time. You must have the courses done so that you can renew with CTEC or you will have to pay a $55 late fee. You will have until 1/15/25 with the late fee. If you miss the January 15th deadline then you will be required to take a 60-hour course again.
