This package includes many tax cuts for individuals and businesses including the elimination of AGI limits for charitable contribution deductions for the year 2020. Previously, taxpayers were only allowed to deduct charitable contributions that were less than 60% of their Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). The Coronavirus tax relief eliminates this provision for the 2020 tax year, allowing taxpayers to deduct all charitable contributions regardless of AGI.
